I am a New Zealand born medical graduate of the University of Otago, Dunedin. I obtained my anaesthetic specialist training in Perth and commenced private practice and appointment to Fremantle Hospital Department of Anaesthesia in 1994. I am currently in full time private practice based at Western Anaesthesiology, including anaesthesia for obstetrics and gynaecology, opthalmology, oral surgery, orthopaedics, gastrointestinal procedures, urology and plastic surgery.
I am married to Wendy with 3 adult children. My interests include mountain biking, road cycling, and bush walking.

I have been in full time specialist practice since 1994. I maintain an anaesthetic practice across a range of surgical specialities, including pain relief for women in labour. I enjoy working in a broad cross section of Perth’s major private hospitals, and have contributed to Medical Advisory Committees in the past at Attadale Hospital and McCourt Street Day Surgery. I am committed to providing empathetic, skilled, and affordable anaesthesia to all patients.
